What is Pembina Light Sour crude?

Pembina Light Sour is a conventionally produced light sour stream from the Drayton Valley region in Alberta. All PLS production is blended into Medium Sour Blend (MSB) at Edmonton.

Sulphur, MCR, metals, BTEX, hexanes, and heptanes were slightly increased in the April sample of Pembina Light Sour. The simulated distillation results indicated larger naphtha and residual fractions than usual.
